SwitchBot S20 & K11+ Are Among the First to Support Matter 1.4
Figuring out how to make our robot vacuums work with Apple Home, we looked at how integrating Matter into our robots could be the solution. After many trials, we came up with the “Matter over Bridge” solution, mapping functions like Start Cleaning and Return to Dock to simple switches. This made it possible to use models like the S10 and K11+ directly in the Home App.
Still, we knew that “Matter over Bridge” was only a temporary fix. We’ve been closely watching Matter’s progress, aiming for the same essential features offered in the SwitchBot App: switching between vacuum and mop modes, selecting cleaning modes, and choosing specific rooms to clean.
Now, the SwitchBot Floor Cleaning Robot S20 and Mini Robot Vacuum K11+ are among the first to support Matter 1.4. You can give voice commands to clean a chosen room or adjust cleaning modes right from the Home App.

The SwitchBot S20 is equipped with our advanced RinseSync™ technology, which washes the mop in real time while it cleans. Unlike disc or flat mops that push dirt around, RinseSync™ mimics the way you’d wipe the floor by hand. With a 4-step cycle of spraying, scrubbing, scraping, and rinsing—repeated up to 300 times per minute—the mop stays clean, so your floors do too.
When it comes to dust removal, we’ve equipped the S20 with serious power. A high-performance motor delivers up to 20,000Pa of suction, while the dual anti-tangle design of both the main brush and side brush ensures smooth operation. On wooden floors, particle removal reaches an impressive 99%.
Beyond cleaning power, the true measure of a robot vacuum is how well it frees up your hands.
During the launch of SwitchBot S10, we realized one key challenge that discouraged many users: the complexity of installing a water station.
SwitchBot S20 takes automation further with a smarter solution. Starting with its onboard water tank, then optional water station, and even integration with a humidifier, delivering supercharged automation.
With S20, you’ll enjoy automatic water refill, mop washing, dust collection, and even mop drying, making floor care almost entirely hands-free.
If refilling or emptying water feels like a hassle, simply add an optional water station. With no need to replace your existing S20, it instantly supports direct plumbing for automatic water supply and drainage, giving you even more hands-free convenience.
Thanks to its ability to draw water directly from the Water Station, the S20 can also automatically refill the SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier. And since it uses cold evaporation, you can add tap water directly without worrying about impurities, ensuring cleaner, fresher humidity for your home.
SwitchBot K11+: Powerful Cleaning with Wide Coverage
K11+ is our answer to cleaning coverage and smart home storage, a robot vacuum designed especially for apartment living.
To tackle the challenge of big robot vacuums struggling to reach every corner, we created the world’s smallest robot vacuum with an auto-emptying dock.
Starting with the K10+, we focused on reducing the size of the vacuum itself to clean those hard-to-reach areas. With the K11+, we’ve taken things a step further. Not only did we make the vacuum smaller, but we also minimized the size of its dock. This means the K11+ leads the way in both cleaning coverage and compact storage. It can go anywhere, and it can fit anywhere.
Though mini in size, the K11+ packs a serious punch. We’ve fitted a more powerful motor into a palm-sized body without increasing its footprint. Suction has been upgraded from 2000Pa to 6000Pa, making hair, coffee grounds, and everyday messes no challenge at all.
When it encounters carpets, the K11+ automatically boosts suction for deep cleaning. In Quiet Mode, it still delivers up to 150 minutes of runtime. Compact, yet incredibly powerful.
